His writings

His Holiness Danzanravjaa had created many poems and songs, those which were both melodious and philosophical in their nature. Moreover, he had written many creations on Buddhist philosophy and Drama in Mongolian and Tibetan languages. As mentioned in his short biography: “…when he was sitting near the door of a feasting family he composed “Khurmast tenger” song within that particular moment and sang as follows:
What is difference between being at the entrance or rear part ‘ger’
When it rains due to its cause and conditions such as dark clouds
What is difference between being young or old aged
When the time of death comes due to one’s karma…and everybody were surprised there. Since then he composed almost 40 songs, those which are about the different occasions of day to day life and over 30 lines of experiences…”.
Ts. Damdinsuren, who was a “Mongolian People’s Writer”, had underlined as: “…Ravjaa didn’t only use all those dexterous words and meanings but he well based on the philosophical ground, and therefore his writings have a very fine and subtle style”. So, His Holiness Danzanravjaa’s creations have a firm base on Buddhist philosophy and Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Traditions.
According to this tradition five qualities of desire such as form, sound, smell, taste, touch are regarded to be the ornament of words and paid special importance to the qualities of body, language, mind /lus- ngag- yed gsum- kyes so/ ,and therefore these become the basis for whatever creation.
A scholar, Dr. S. Dulam has regarded Mongolian first “Bogd” Jetsundampa Zanabazar, Gobi Noyon khutugt Danzanravjaa, Geshe Zava Damdin etc, as representatives of those who perfectly qualified in marvelous skills of artful works by body, language and mind.
A Russian scholar, G.I. Mikhailov says: “Just as XIX Century had offered the great poet A. S. Pushkin as the brilliant gift to Russia, it presented D. Ravjaa, who was equal one with our poet”.
However, words are just as an ordinary usages in the different types of day to day life purposes, Noyon khutugt Danzanravjaa transformed them into melodious as well as blessed ones and also transformed someone, who was an ordinary person into the best cream of beauty. So, this was precisely the specific characteristics of His Holiness’ creations.
Nowadays His Holiness Danzanravjaa’s creations are translated in Russian, Germany, Hungary, English and Chinese by those who are engaged in Ravjaa Studies.
